Rhonda Womble

Rhonda “Nanny” Womble, 61, of Flintstone, GA passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at a local health care facility. She lived most of her life in Flintstone and was known for her kind heart and being a “Nanny” to everyone. She always looked for ways to help others, she never met a stranger and she loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was preceded in death by her mom, Virginia Jo Weathers; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Womble. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Charlie Womble; six children, Charles, Allen, and Adam Womble, Michelle Mullins, Sherrie Hamby, and Carrie Pruitt; three brothers; two sisters; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
