Linda Garner

FORT OGLETHORPE — Linda Louise Bradford Garner of N.H.C. Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., born June 22, 1942, in Gadsden, Ala., left this world from Memorial Hospital and went to be with her Lord on Jan. 10, 2018. Linda graduated from Central High School in the class of 1962. She married Robert Garner on Aug. 7, 1972. Linda was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Jesse Lee and Rosemary Bradford; a sister, Bettie Sosebee; and a brother, Ronald Bradford, both of Chattanooga, Tenn. She leaves a brother Michael Bradford (Leona), of Kansas City, Mo.; and a brother, David Bradford (Tracie), of Sparta, Tenn., a sister-in-law, Marilyn Bradford, of Chattanooga, Tenn., and a lifelong friend Diane Bramblett, of Ringgold, Ga. Linda had a large owl collection and over the years had acquired the nickname of “Hoot”. She will always be remembered for her sweet loving spirit. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Ray Mabe officiating. Interment will be at the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday Jan. 16, at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
