Ed Bearden

TRENTON — Ed “Paw” Bearden, 73, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 17, 2018. He, along with his sons, operated Sand Mountain Logging. Mr. Bearden was a veteran of the Vietnam era and was of the Pentecostal faith. Preceded in death by his wife of over 41 years, Alma Ruth Wooten Bearden. Surviving include his daughter, Tonya (Joseph) Riley, of Trenton, Ga.; son, Michael (Misty) Bearden, of Ider, Ala.; brother, Wilford (Becky) Bearden, of Dalton, Ga.; brother, Harvey (Sherry) Bearden, of Dalton, Ga.; brother, Chett (Janette) Bearden, of Dalton, Ga.; brother, Lamar (Faye) Bearden, of Chattanooga; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel with Bro. Randy Flood officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton, GA.
