Calvin Copeland

Calvin Copeland, 58, of Chattanooga passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018 at Health Center at Standifer Place. Calvin was a member of Pilgrim Rock Baptist church. He was a graduate of Brainerd High School in Chattanooga. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Willie James Copeland Sr.; grandmother; granddaddy; and other relatives and friends. He is survived by one sister, Mary Powell, of Chattanooga; three brothers, Willie (Mattie) Copeland, Charlie (Dorothy) Copeland and Eulanrce Copeland, all of Chattanooga; two aunts, Louise and Mattie Billingsela; four nieces, Samatha (Gregory) Cosby, Shaneya and Erica Copeland of Chattanooga and Cassandra Copeland of Ala.; two nephews, Danyeal Copeland of Chattanooga and Dennis Copeland of Ala.; one grand-niece, that he always called on Delicia Cosby of Chattanooga; two grand nephews Victor Powell and Gregory Cosby (Chelauna Sterling) of Chattanooga; several great grand nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of good friends. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a chapel service to follow at 11 a.m. in Advantage Chapel. Burial in Highland Cemetery.
