Henry Crumpton

Henry Louis Crumpton, 87, passed away June 28, 2018. He attended Howard High School upon graduating, he joined the United States Army after returning from Germany he joined the Labors Local Union 846 and retired in 1992. He was a member for over 60 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Brown; father, Walter Crumpton; sisters, Barbara Holt and Ada Moore. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Crumpton; sisters, Angela Crumpton, and Leslie Crumpton both of Nashville; sister in laws, Linda Bridges, Gloria Green and Ethel Bridges; brother in law, Johnny Bridges, Jr.; a host of nephews, nieces and friends; special thanks to Camilla Home Health. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018, in the chapel. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery. The body will lie in state after 12 noon on Sunday, July 8, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995
