Beulah McKinney

OCOEE — Beulah Rothwell McKinney, 79, a resident of Ocoee, went home to be with the Lord and other loved ones on Sunday, July 29, 2018, at her home. She was of Baptist faith. Beulah was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she lit up any room she entered. She enjoyed spending time with family and taking care of everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Wendell McKinney; son, James Wendell “Skip” McKinney; parents, Herman and Carrie Gill Rothwell; brothers, Clayton and Clyde Rothwell and sisters, Frances Osteika, Dorothy Thurman and Bonnie Sneed. Survivors include her children, George McKinney (Tonja), of Dayton, Michael Lee McKinney and Donald Ray McKinney, both of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Terra Thomas, Kayla Crawley, Cory McKinney, Kattie McKinney, Kerrie McKinney, Jesse McKinney and Krystal McKinney; seven great-grandchildren, Heather, Jenna and Kaylee Crawley, Hannah, Emma and James Thomas and Malachi McKinney; siblings, Janice Clayton, of Georgetown, Gerald Rothwell, of Dayton and Floyd Rothwell, of Chattanooga; several nieces, nephews and special friend, Jack Kirksey also survive. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Jewel officiating. Interment will follow in West Hills Cemetery in Dalton, Ga. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the funeral home.
