Opal Harris

EVENSVILLE — Opal Christeen Harris, 85, passed away March 1, 2018, at Courtyard at Deeridge. Opal was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She enjoyed Rhea Richland Senior Neighbors. Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Felix Harris. She is survived by daughters, Debbie (Toby) Gilliam, Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., Kathy (Bobby) Dodd, Ooltewah, Tenn.; grandchildren, Christy (Matt) Harding, Ann (Andy) Kilgore, Katy (Anthony) Brown; great-grandchildren, Emma and Ben Harding, Kase Kilgore, Ensley Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Seton Tomyn and Rev. Rusty Revis officiating.
