Brenda Biddy

FORT OGLETHORPE — Brenda Sue Biddy, 76, passed away Monday, March 19th, 2018 in a local hospital. Brenda was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Temple where she was a charter member of the “Joy Makers” Sunday school class. She retired from East Ridge Middle School after 39 years of service as head cook of the cafeteria. Brenda loved her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Leon Biddy; daughter, Kimberly Biddy, of Ringgold, Ga.; son, Leon Melvin Biddy Jr., of Chickamauga, Ga.; sister, Linda Day, of Rossville, Ga.; brother, Kirk Samsel, of Highpoint, Ga.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. David Sampson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
