Lillian Hall

Lillian Hooper Hall, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2018, after a long-term illness. She was born on June 23, 1936, in Cleveland, Tenn., to the late Bruce and Mabel Hooper. Lillian lived most of her life in Chattanooga, Tenn., and most recently in Ringgold, Ga., and was a lifelong member of Candies Creek Baptist Church of Cleveland, Tenn. She worked as a General Manager and Regional Auditor in the Hospitality Industry for the Howard Johnson Company for 20 years and as a Small Business Consultant until her retirement. Lillian was a loving wife and mother who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dr. Keyoda Hall Bookout; and two brothers, Bruce W. Hooper Jr. and Morgan Bernard Hooper. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, William L. Hall; daughter, Kimitia Hall, of Chattanooga; granddaughter, Megan Bookout, of Nashville, Tenn.; nephew, Troy Hooper, of Rossville, Ga.; niece, Renee Hooper Pflueger, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two great-grandnephews, Cody Hooper, of Rome, Ga., and Justin Hooper, of Acworth, Ga.; two great–great-grandnephews, Asher and Steel Hooper. A special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving and compassionate care. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at 2 p.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor J.C. Groves officiating.
