Robert Beavers

Robert Scott “Scotty” Beavers, 58, of Chattanooga passed away Friday, May 11, 2018. A lifelong member of Ridgeview Baptist Church, Scotty was a devoted son to his parents, Gerald and Betty Hooper Beavers, and a loving brother and uncle. Anyone who knew him would agree that his unwavering positivity was an inspiration to others, as was his kindness, humility and courage. He possessed a remarkable memory; he never forgot a face or the name that went with it. Nor will we ever forget Scotty, his quick smile, and gentle nature. He will be forever missed. Survivors include his sister, Susan (Dick) Ireland; two nephews, Griffin Ireland and Nicholas (Melissa) Ireland; one niece, Susannah (Jason) Loveless; seven great-nieces and great-nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road with the Rev. Bruce Sloan officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
