Cynthia Berlinghof

Cynthia Terrill Berlinghof, 78 went home to be with Jesus on November 5, 2018. She suffered from Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia. Beloved wife of David M. Berlinghof for 57 years; loving mother of B. Todd (Emily) Berlinghof, Marnie (Chip) McCall and Jennifer (Michael) Corcoran; proud grandmother of C. David, Chase and Madeline Berlinghof, William and Taylor McCall, Payton and Mason Corcoran; dear sister of Patricia Hofmann (deceased), Deborah Pogue, Terry Spiller and Harriet Clarkson Terrill; cherished daughter of the late Edward Berkshire Terrill, Jr., the late Patricia Pogue Holloway and the late Evelyn Beard Terrill; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Cindy lived her life for Jesus and found great comfort in her faith. She sang in the choir at The Church of the Holy Comforter and was always involved in Bible studies. Attended The Hillsdale School in Cincinnati and Sophie Newcomb College (Tulane University, New Orleans), where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. During her marriage to David, Cindy lived in Natchez, MS, Sacramento, CA, Minneapolis, MN, Chattanooga, (Signal Mtn) TN, Atlanta, GA. and Chicago, IL. She worked in retail and sold Avon products for years. Cindy was a member of the Sheridan Study Club on the Northshore, volunteered at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab and the inner city. She was athletic throughout her life and especially enjoyed tennis. Memorial Service, Saturday, November 17, 2018 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Comforter, 222 Kenilworth Avenue, Kenilworth, IL 60043.
