Bennie Manning

Bennie Lamar Manning, 81, of Chattanooga, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2018. He was born May 29, 1937, in Chattanooga, Tenn., to the late Albert Lee and Fannie Christine Manning. He was preceded in death by his children, Steve (Shelby) Manning and Richard Manning; brothers, Willard Manning, Ernest Manning, and Jimmy Manning. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Sarah Manning; granddaughter, Stephanie Long; great-grandsons, David Massengale and Steven Massengale; sisters, Theresa Daniels, and Joyce Wright; brother, Holbert Manning. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hooker Cemetery.
