Agnes Sims

Agnes Hickey Sims, 82, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018. She brought beauty into the lives of others as a cosmetologist who owned her own shop for many years. A member of Calvary Baptist Church, she maintained many lifelong friendships. Aggie was a special person, full of love, kindness, and generosity. She was beloved by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Tammy Lewis (Kenny); grandchildren, Courtney Lewis, Nick Lewis (Tasha), and Taylor Lewis; sister, Barbara Roberson; brother, J.V. Hickey (Kay); and many nieces and nephews and beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fay; parents, Claude and Bessie Hickey; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Pat Hickey; and beloved nephew and great niece, Darryl Hickey and Keely Miller. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev T.D. Burgess officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
