Mamie Lee Clark

NEW SALEM — Mamie Lee Abbott Clark, 95, of the New Salem Community who resided in Villanow, Ga., passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rice Clark; sons, Billy and Jerry Clark; parents, Jim and Avie Abbot; four brothers one sister; two grandsons and two great-grandsons. Mamie is survived and will be greatly missed by Dee Clark (Genelle), Lafayette, Ga., and Essie Clark, Villanow, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held noon Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Hawkins Cemetery.
