Mellonnee McGregor

ROSSVILLE — Mellonee D. McGregor, 60, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2018 at her residence. Mellonee had spent the greater part of her life in the Rossville area, was retired from Borg Textile, and had worked for Cigna for 20 years. She attended Canaan Baptist Church and Solid Rock Baptist Church, was a Tennessee Vol fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne McGregor and parents, Jessie and Floyetta Green. Survivors include her daughters, Krysty (Jody) Bradley, Amie (Joey) Graham, and Kimberly McGregor; brother, Michael (Barbara) Green; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Bylinda Johnson. Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Gill and the Rev. Josh Hollifield officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 9 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
