Rosie Harvey

DECATUR — Rose Marie “Rosie” Harvey, 60, formerly of Chattanooga, died Tuesday morning, Sept. 11, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. She was born Oct. 2, 1957, in Dayton. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Curtin. Rosie lived in Chattanooga for many years until moving to Decatur five years ago. She was employed with Southwest Motor Freight and FedEx. Rosie enjoyed being with her family and was of the Christian faith. She is survived by her husband, Robert Harvey, of Decatur; her mother, Donna (James) Thompson, of Grandview; her daughter, Kristin (Juan) Bloodworth; her grandson, Avery Elijah Bloodworth, both of Chickamauga, Ga.; her brothers, Steve (Debbie) Curtin, of Dayton, Richard (Joy) Reed, of Dayton and Rusty (Trish) Reed, of Atlanta, Ga.; her sister, Violet (Jim) Graves, of Grandview; his stepmother, Betty Curtin, of Sale Creek; and many nephews and nieces. Funeral services for Rosie will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton on Friday.
