Calvin Gibson

Mr. Calvin Coolidge Gibson, 92 of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Fort Payne passed away Monday, April 15, 2019. He was born Oct. 16, 1926, to the late Jacob Daniel and Pluma White Gibson. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Gibson was a member of Second Baptist Church and was a fixer at Bailey Knit Hosiery. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 4 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. He is survived by his children, Kay Harris and husband Bill, and Michael Gibson and wife Tina; grandchildren, Amber, Blake and Kelsey and great grandchild, Everly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blondell Patterson Gibson. Wilson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
