Peggy Shaw
ROSSVILLE — Peggy Jean Shaw, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb.
17, 2019.
Peggy was a true Christian who lived a Christian life. She was a loving wife
and mother and she wrote the book on how to be the best grandmother. Peggy loved her family, going out to eat, shopping, traveling, and getting her hair fixed each week.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Lee Shaw; parents, Clarence and Katie Davis; sister, Barbara Grayson; and brother, David Davis, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Denton; sisters, Shirley Fessler and Jeanene Fannin; grandson, Jon (Megan) Hillis; granddaughters, Melissa (Raymond) Meadows and Heather (Anthony) Simmons; great grandchildren, Breanna Marshall, Xavier Simmons, Hailey Meadows, Megan Meadows, Shelby Meadows, Kaylee Hillis and Emma Hillis;
and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Craig Westbrook officiating.
Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the funeral time at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located
at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
