Rachel Sides

ROSSVILLE — Rachel Elizabeth Sain Sides, 86, of Rossville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019. She was born to the late Wesley and Anna Peral Bookout Sain in Chattanooga, was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia Area and was a member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church. Rachel retired in 2013 from Ft. Oglethorpe Nursing Center after more than 11 yrs. and was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Laura Lea and sisters, Hilda Perry and Jean Bush. Rachel is survived by her loving children, David (Donna) Roberts, Anna (Jeff) Justice and John Sides, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. James Sprayberry officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens-South. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe.
