Lowenstein Smith

Lowenstein “Lois” Williams Smith was born Aug. 13, 1940, and departed this life on Jan. 7, 2019. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and generous friend. Lois, as she was affectionally called, loved everyone she came in contact with. Her outgoing personality and smile could light up any room. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Alex Smith; three loving daughters, Shirley Maria Gott, of Tucson, Ariz., Vickey Wylesia Gott and Ashely Gott, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; seven grandkids; two great-grandkids; and a host of other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, from 10 a.m. to noon at Stephen Temple Cumberland Presbyterian Church. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Interment: Lakewood East.
