Chelsa McKnelly

Chelsa Jean McKnelly, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away on July 13, 2019. She was a graduate of Sequatchie County High School. Chelsa received an Associate’s Degree from Draughn’s Junior College. She was a member of Valley Memorial Church. Chelsa was last employed with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as a cashier. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip; parents, Howard and Laura McCurry; and a brother, Bobby McCurry. Left behind to cherish Chelsa’s life is her son, Steve McKnelly; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A Celebration of Chelsa’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Friday July 19, 2019, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday. Interment will be in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 S. Moore Rd. East Ridge, TN 37412.
