Edrys Richardson

Edrys Genell Richardson, 92, passed away on June 11, 2019 surrounded by family. She attended Lifegate Baptist Church. Edrys loved to shop, read and spend time with family and friends. She worked for Dixie Merchandise at Lupton City 42 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lena Sneed; husband of 54 years, William A. Richardson; sister, Marie Sneed; grandchildren, Sharon Genell Penney and Gaylynn Richardson. She is survived by her children, Brenda Richardson Penney, James Marion (Ebbie) Richardson and Karen Richardson (James) Hardgrove; brother, Arlin B. Sneed; nine grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. with Pastor James Dunn officiating. Burial to follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
