Doris Flynn

Doris Sue Jones Flynn, 92, of East Ridge, Tenn. passed away Saturday, Mar. 2, 2019. A lifelong resident of the North Georgia-Chattanooga area, she was a former employee of Success Portrait Company where she worked as an air brush artist for 25 years and was of the Methodist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mike Flynn; parents, Leon and Annie Louise Thomas Jones; sister, June Francine Clapp and infant granddaughter, Allyson Flynn. She is survived by her two children, Mike (Danna) Flynn Sr. of East Ridge, Tenn., and Patricia (Kenneth) Hallford of Hixson, Tenn.; two sisters, Margaret E. Nehring of Summerville, Ga., and Sharon Simmons of Summerville, Ga.; three brothers, Jimmy Jones of Summerville, Ga., Aaron Jones of Ringgold, Ga., and Steve Jones of Easley, S.C.; four grandchildren, David VanZant, Mike Flynn Jr., Rachel Flynn and Amanda (Aaron) Cawood; two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 12:30 p.m. Wednesday March 6, 2019, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Ga.
