Aries Leon Kight, 91, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019. Rev. Kight was a Pastor and devoted to the ministry for 65 years. He was preceded in death by his devoted, loving wife, Louise Kight; parents, Blake and Emma Kight; siblings, Veda Roberts, Ewell Kight, Hazel Burkhalter and Annis Stiefel. Rev. Kight is survived by his 96 year old sister, Helen Elwell, of Maine; three daughters, Alta Peden (Terry), Brenda White (Steve), Linda Kilgore (Sonny); 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday March 15, 2019, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace, and Saturday March 16, 2019, from 1 to 2 p.m. at First Bible Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the First Bible Methodist Church, 2205 East 36th Street, Chattanooga, TN 37407.
