Frankie Parker

MILLEDGEVILLE — Frankie Ruth Harris Parker, 85, formerly of LaFayette, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Peedab” Parker; son, Robin Glen Parker; grandson, Bradly Dale Parker; parents, Roy Harris and Mable Laymon Harris; sisters, Betty Jean Parker and Melvina Carrington; and brother, Leroy Harris. She is survived by her sons, Buck (Sharon) Parker of Daytona Beach and Dale (Gail) Parker of Milledgeville; grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) Clayton of Ooltewah, Buck (Windy) Parker Jr., of Pensacola Beach and Simon (Casey) Parker of Hillsboro, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Savannah (Brent) Hicks, Jake Clayton, Emma Parker, Jesse, Sara, and LeighAnn Parker, and Jenna and Ian Parker; and sister, Frances Brooks of LaFayette. Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Jay Brock officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Naomi Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike Clayton, Simon Parker, Jake Clayton, Brent Hicks, and Jonathan Woodard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ladies Mission Group of Corinth Baptist Church 2524 Corinth Road, LaFayette, GA 30728. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
