Thelma Compton

Thelma Irene Seagroves Compton, 77, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of the north Georgia area, and attended Calvary Church of God. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, Joshua Jackson and Birdie Lee Holt Seagroves; sister, Juanita Wright, and brothers, Raymond and Kenny Seagroves. Survivors include her husband, Paul McAurthar Compton; children, Paula (David) Burgess, Darrin (Josie) Compton; siblings, Charles (Alice) Seagroves, Barbara (Don) Harris, Kathryn Tinker; grandchildren, Devin (Amanda) Nation, Seven Compton. Thelma was blessed with several step grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. David Rynolds officiating. Online guest book at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
