Paul Pitts

Paul A. Pitts Jr., 96, passed from this life on February 17, 2020. Paul was a World War II Navy Veteran having served in the Pacific on the U.S.S. North Carolina Battle Ship. After the war Paul began his career as an electrician joining the International Brotherhood od Electrical Workers Local 175. He recently received his 70 year certificate as a member in good standings with this local. Paul will be greatly missed by his family & all who knew him.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Lucille Pitts; daughter Connie Harper; brother, James Pitts; and sisters Elizabeth Leigh, Lema June Caldwell, Linda Hale, and Gloria Noll.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mona Pitts; brother Ronnie Pitts; and sisters Regis Eaker, Shirley Fowler. And Nancy Walden. Also surviving are brothers-in-law; Richard Hale and Mark Walden; and several nieces and nephews.

A very special thank you to caregiver Kim and very special brother-in-law Mark Walden for many years of care, companionship and love.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 19, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the parlor of the funeral home.
