Charlie Rucks - Charles "Charlie" G. Rucks, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010.Charlie was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a 1955 graduate of Kirkman High School. He served our country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Alhambra Shrine Temple. Charlie was retired from U.S. Pipe, Soil Pipe Division as a Superintendent with 30 years of service.He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mary Rucks; siblings, Martha Rucks Belue, Carolyn Louise Rucks and David Allen Rucks.Charlie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Robbie Ricketts Rucks; siblings, William "Bill" J. (Faye) Rucks, Curtis F. Rucks, Jane Rucks Cole and Thomas "Jerry" G. (Dianne) Rucks; and a very close friend, Wayne Lamb; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from noon until service time today at the North Chapel.Graveside services for Charlie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with his brother, Dr. Curtis F.
