Ruth Smith - RINGGOLD Ruth Smith - , 91, died Thursday, April 29, 2010, in a local health care facility.She was a native of Camden, Tenn., a daughter of the late Aquilla and Tennessee Rayburn Byrd.She was preceded in death by her husband, William Garnett Smith Sr.Survivors are son, William G. (Gaye) Smith Jr. and Robert A. (Marie) Smith, Ringgold; daughter, Joy Ruth Smith - (Jim) Stone, Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Virginia Craig, Mishawauka, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel.Interment in Anderson Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and after noon Sunday at the Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
