Margaret Shepherd

Margaret Osborn Shepherd passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, in Denver, Colo., at the age of 85.Margaret attended UTC where she majored in music and later helped found the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera House. Margaret married Paul Shepherd of Chattanooga in 1952. An advocate for community involvement and an active member of the Methodist Church, she will be greatly missed.Margaret is survived by her nephews, George Riley and John Riley; niece, Peggy Tompson; son-in-law, Todd Bowen and grandchildren, Casey Bowen and Logan Bowen.Visitation with her family to be held from 1:30-3:30 p.m. today, Dec. 22, at Pinnacle Clubroom, 1131 Stringers Ridge Road, Chattanooga.
