Scarlet Kay Prater Brock, 40, of Soddy-Daisy and formerly of Harriman departed this life on Sunday, July 18, 2010.She was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister and aunt.She was preceded in death by her mother, Rhonda K. Jones.She is survived by her husband, John E. Brock and precious children, Lacie K. Boyd and Natalie Ann Brock; grandchild, Laila Kay Boyd; father, Ronnie (Gail) Prater; sister, Maggie Noland; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gib and Ann Laymon; several nieces, nephews and many friends and co-workers at the Soddy-Daisy Wal-Mart.A Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. today in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Calvin Nunley and Bishop Sam Phillips officiating.The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.Arrangements are by locally owned and operated Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy.
