Walter Goines

Walter James Goines, 81, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010, at his home. He was employed by ADT Furniture. Walter also served his country in the US Army.He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Seasener Pearson Goines; sister, Willie Mae Goines and brother, Samuel J. Goines.He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Goines; sons, Walter Goines - Jr. and Roland (Julia) Price; daughters, Lugenia (Elisha) Donaldson, Pauline (Anthony) Thurman, Anita (John) Fulgiam and Barbara Jones; ten grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Goines; special niece, Shirley Vance; special nephew, Thomas Zackery; other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held on at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Arrangements by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
