Wahletha Cofer

Wahletha "Wally" Price Cofer, 75, of Eden Prairie, will be deeply missed as she went to be with her Lord Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010.She was preceded in death by parents and six siblings, and survived by a devoted and loving family; husband of 53 years, Marvin; daughter, Cindy (Randy) Evert, of Eden Prairie; son, Tim (Jodi) Cofer, of Glenview, Ill.; grandchildren, Avery and Alex, of Eden Prairie; Dylan and Austin, of Glenview, one sister and many other relatives.Wahletha was a deeply loved wife, mother and grandmother (Anna) and will be remembered by her family and friends around the world for her Christian values, genuine kindness and radiant smile. Wahletha was born in Sevierville, Tenn. and graduated from East Tennessee State University. She enjoyed living in Tennessee, South Carolina, Italy and Belgium before moving to Eden Prairie, Minn. in 1996. Wahletha taught at Red Bank High School 1957-70 and leaves family and many dear friends in the Chattanooga area.Funeral Service 11 a.m. Wednesday at Washburn-McReavy Chapel (952-975-0400), 7625 Mitchell Road; Eden Prairie.Interment in Eden Prairie Cemetery, 8810 Eden Prairie Road following the funeral.Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Alzheimers Association or Fairview Home Care and Hospice.
