Charles Dunlap

Dr. Dr. Charles "Charlie" Dunlap died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, after a courageous fight with cancer.Charles was born Dec. 24, 1948, in Memphis, Tenn.He is survived by his beloved wife, Paula, and four children, Alex and Emily Dunlap and Taylor and Preston Vandergriff. He was one of five children, his late big brother, "Bubba," and is survived by his little sister, Susie and big brother, David and big sister, June. He was a gentle, kind soul and spent his life caring for those he loved as well as any who crossed his path. Professionally, he was a respected surgeon and an adored employer. He touched countless lives with his kindness and humility.A memorial service will be held for friends and family to be announced at a later date.
