Jake Langston

J.C. James "Jake" Langston, age 79, of Parkers Gap passed away Monday, September 6, 2010 at his home.He was born February 15, 1931 in Chattanooga to the late George & Bessie Langston.He served three hitches as an Army veteran in the Korean War and worked in construction. His sister, Betty Friederichsen and brothers, George Langston, Jr. and A. W. Langston preceded him in death.Survivors include his sisters, Margaret Harris of Ooltewah and Ethel Roe of Anniston, Ala. who also passed away Sept. 7, 2010; special brother-in-law, Richard Harris of Ooltewah; several nieces and nephews.There will be no services or visitation at the funeral home.Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanoogaeastbrainerdchapel.com.
