SGT. Patrick K. Durham, 24, of Chattanooga, died Saturday, August 28, 2010, on active duty serving with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan.He served in the U.S. Army from 2006 until 2010 and was stationed at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Patrick grew up in the Suck Creek area with his grandparents and his uncle Danny. He always had a smile that would enlighten anyone that he met. Patrick has left behind a grand legacy that will live on forever.Survivors include wife, Kristy Wright Durham; two sons, Elijah Durham and Jordan Gage Allison; one daughter, Cheyenne Fox; father, Sammy Durham; brother, SGT. Brandon L. Durham; three sisters: Nikki Sizemore, Samara and Kristi Durham; three uncles, Danny and Donald Durham and Clyde Gunther; one aunt, Sandra Durham; many nephews, nieces and cousins.Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace with Pastor Mark Woody officiating.Interment will be in Francis Cemetery with full military honors.The family will receive friends 4-8 pm today and one hour before services on Thursday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace.
