James Hamilton

James C. Hamilton, 54, of Chattanooga passed away on Tuesday, Sept, 28, 2010, after a seven week battle with pneumonia.James was retired from the Hamilton County Sheriffs Department and after his retirement he went back to school and received a degree in Medical Assisting, and taught at Miller Motte Technical College.James was a charter member of Waldens Ridge Rescue service. He loved airplanes and was preparing for his pilots license exam when his health failed.He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence HamiltonSurvivors include his mother, Edna Knight; and several cousins in South Carolina.Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at the North Chapel with the Rev.
