Peggy Locke

Peggy Locke, 83, of Chattanooga passed away Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at a local hospital.She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Rossville area where she was a member of Victory Baptist Church and the Cedar Hills Community Center. She retired from Erlanger Hospital in 1993 with 30 years of service in Medical Records. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Carl Locke; stepson, Gary Locke, of Alpharetta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association at P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held Friday at noon in the South Crest Chapel with Dr. Ernest Groce officiating.Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.The family will receive friends today from 5-7 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
