Zach Henderson

SOUTH PITTSBURG Zachary John Henderson, 24, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011.Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Frances "Fosky" Henderson; maternal grandfather, Raymond Calvin Collins; and uncle, William Bradford Henderson. The son of John Holden and Patricia Lee Collins Henderson, Zachary was a 2006 graduate of Clarke Central High School in Athens, Ga., where he was the captain of the baseball and football teams. He went on to study at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville to play baseball. Zach also attended Gainesville State University and, most recently, at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He attended Beech Haven Baptist Church and loved music, golf and intellectual stimulation.He also is survived by his brother, Bradford Calvin Henderson, of Marietta, Ga.; grandmother, Willie Mae Collins, of South Pittsburg; grandfather, William Bradford Henderson, of Athens; aunts, Fran Hobbs, of Bend, Ore., Frances (Peter) Gebs, of Richmond, Va., Carol (Steve) Brooks, of Athens, Chris (Perry) Watts, of Kennesaw, Ga.; cousins, Chelsea and Harrison Gebs, Stefanie, Craig and Sarah Brooks, Matthew (Kristel) Watts, Zachary Watts, Jennifer Hobbs and Kim Hobbs.A memorial service will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg at 2 p.m. CST Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, officiated by Rev.
