Timothy Neal

Timothy James Neal, 33, of Hixson, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2011.He lived most of his life in the Chattanooga area.Tim was a graduate of UTC, Magna Cum Laude and received his masters degree from Georgia State University. He was a guidance counselor at Red Bank High School.He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce J. Neal; brother, Kevin Christopher Neal; grandmother, Jeanette White; and grandfather, Glenn Foster Sr.Tim is survived by his children, Zoe Elizabeth Neal and Kevin Jackson Neal, both of Soddy-Daisy; mother and stepfather, Glenda and Ron Griffith, of Hixson; brother, Mark (Angela) Neal, of Decatur, Ga.; half brother, Justin Giffith, of Norfolk, Va.; grandmothers, Minnie Rader, of Red Bank and Jane Foster, of Ooltewah; grandfather, James K. White Sr., of Summerville, S.C.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.Memorial contributions may be made to McKamey Animal Care and Adoption Center, 4500 N.
