Eulene Bates

ROSSVILLE W. Eulene Bates, 80 passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011.She was born in Henegar, Ala., to the late Farest and Faye Bell, before moving to the North Georgia area in 1940, and was of the Baptist faith.Eulene is survived by her daughters, Sandra Ivey and Melissa Simmons, both of Henegar, Ala.; son, Anthony Crain, of East Ridge; sister Zelma Crawford, of Rossville; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, in the funeral home chapel with Elder Tony Ivey officiating.Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today, Feb. 4, 2011 and prior to the service Saturday.Arrangements by W.L.
