Gamalier Aviles

Gamalier Avils, 68, of Collegedale, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011.A native of Santiago, Chile, he resided in Collegedale for the past 33 years and was a member of Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was the son of the late Ramon and Felisa Avils and was preceded in death by two brothers, Juan and Alejandro.Survivors include his wife, Ana Avils; three daughters, Viviana, Anita and Esther; two sons, Rubn and Gabriel; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Marta, Sara and Margarita; five brothers, Daniel, Manuel, Ramn, Eleazar and Ciro.A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at Collegedale SDA Church.Interment will be in Collegedale Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Alexian Brothers PACE Program, 425 Cumberland St., Chattanooga, TN 37404, 423-698-0802.
