Glenda Ennis

Glenda Willmore Ennis, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at a local hospital.Glenda was born in Albertville, Ala., to Charles and Lula Willmore, the oldest of three girls. She attended Albertville High School and was active in her church and local community. Glenda will be remembered by many as a talented and accomplished pianist. Even in her high school years, she accompanied and played for churches, weddings, and other momentous occasions in many lives. Glenda went on to study music in college and continued to serve and minister to others through music. Her most recent position was as pianist for Bayville Baptist Church in Augusta, Ga.Glenda was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She delighted in the successes of each family member. Glenda was gifted in life with a passionate devotion to lifelong friends and blessed with a great sense of humor. As a result, she made and kept many friends for life. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with family. Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Charles Frank Willmore, and sister, Betty Lou Trussell, both of Albertville, Ala.; and loving husband, Eddie Ray Ennis, of Chattanooga.Survivors include her son, Dewey Ennis, of Atlanta; daughter, Karen Ennis Harris (Tori), of Knoxville; and daughter, Betty Ann Ennis Toomey (Greg), of Greenville, S.C. Other family members include four grandchildren, Gillian and Morgan Harris and Aidan and Jessica Toomey; mother, Lula Murphy Willmore; sister, Elaine Garrard, and other extended family.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. CST Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Albertville, Ala., with Rev.
