Sean Kay

LaFAYETTE Sean Kay, 45, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at his residence.He had lived the past 11 years in Lafayette were he owned and operated Lawn Services. Sean was a United States Army veteran and his passions in life were fishing, motorcycle riding, coin collecting, and just being in the outdoors. Heaven has opened its gates to a wonderful and loving man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ace and Valeri Kay.Survivors include his wife, Teri Tipton-Kay; two children, Jason Manning, of LaFayette and Tabitha Kendrick, of Chickamauga; brother, Jeffrey "Dylan" Kay, of Miami, Fla.; four grandchildren, Logan Wattenbarger, Lexi Roberson, Jaxon Manning and Jonathan Rosen; in-laws, Ethel and Vincent Rogers, of Rock Spring and Elmer and Margarette Pell, of LaFayette; two sisters-in-law, Vanessa Rogers, of Ringgold and Amanda Thompson, of LaFayette; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Private services will be held at a later date.Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
