Anne HallAnne Waring Hall, BSN, died peacefully Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, in a health care facility in Greenville, S.C.She was born Oct. 24, 1930, in Pittsburg, Pa. to Harold R. Waring, MD and Edith McCallum Waring, RN.She grew up in Chattanooga and was a graduate of City High School where she was a member of its May Court. She received her BSN from the University of Iowas Outstanding nursing school where she sang in its choir. There she met her husband of some 50 years, Daniel M. Hall, a veteran of the Korean War.Working as a public health nurse in Cambridge, Mass., she put him through Harvard Law School. In subsequent years, Mr. Halls work in corporate law involved many transfers. Of the various cities in which they lived Seattle, Wash., and Williamsburg, Va., were her favorites.Surviving her are two twin sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Mary Hall, of Greer, and Steve and Katie Hall, of Richmond, Va. She also leaves behind a sister, Dr. Mary Waring, of Chattanooga; and three grandchildren, Karen, Kristen and Megan Hall.She will be interred in Greenville.In her memory, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
