Bill Massengale

William "Bill" Silas Massengale, 65, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sequatchie, Tenn. Bill was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 35 years. He was retired from Carta with 34 years of service.Survivors include his wife, Wanda Ann Massengale; daughter, Katrina (Charles) Gunter, of Hixson; son, Kendon William (Cherie) Massengale, of East Brainerd; grandchildren, Landon and Laney Massengale; sister-in-law, Wanda Massengal,e of Whitwell; three brothers, Joe (Shirley) Massengale, of Richmond, Ky., David (Merris) Massengale and James Massengale, both of Powells Crossroads; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at Calvary Baptist Church, Red Bank with Pastor Steve Roberson, the Rev. Dwight Martin and the Rev. Grant Whittenbarger officiating.
