Marell Galyon

ROSSVILLE Marell Galyon, 84, passed away at her longtime residence Saturday morning, Feb. 5, 2011, after a long struggle with cancer. She was a loving wife to her husband of 68 years, and a caring mother of three children. She was a faithful member of the Chattanooga First Wesleyan Church and a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband, Dr. L.E. Galyon Sr., Rossville; daughters, Gail (James) Bullard and Karen (Chuck) Poore, both of Ooltewah; and son, Eddie Galyon Jr., Rossvillle. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister, and is survived by two sisters and a brother, six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
