Bennie Melton

Bennie William Melton Jr., 44, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, in a local hospital. He was employed by Intersign Company. Survivors include his children, Bennie III, Brenden, Bailee, Bresha and Breanna Melton; parents, Bennie and Annie Melton Sr.; brother, Earl Prince; sisters, Jacqueline Rutley, Annette Prince and Christine (Kevin) Carr; several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Elder Harris L. Toney officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. The body will lie-in-state today after 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
