Stan Shauf

Stan D. Shauf, 83, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011. Stan was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran. Stan was of the Baptist faith and a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. He was employed as a supervisor at DuPont and retired after 36 years of service.Stan, the son of the late David C. Shauf and Audrey D. Shauf, was preceded in death by his sister, Delura Miller and brother, Jack Shauf.Survivors include his wife, Mary Glenn Shauf; son, Gary L. (Ruth Ann) Shauf, of Tampa, Fla.; son, Daniel L. Shauf, of Greenville, Tenn.; daughter, Victoria S. Falls, of Ooltewah, Tenn.; grandsons, Clay (Denise) Scott, of Ooltewah, Tenn., Jason Shauf, of Baton Rouge, La., Benjamin Shauf, of Tampa, Fla.; granddaughter, Tori (Sean) Henderson, of Ooltewah, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Alexia and Reid Scott, of Ooltewah, Tenn., Taylor Brown, of Ooltewah, Tenn.; and nieces, Becky Greene, Kathy Williamson and Anne Singer.The memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 1, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral home with Chaplain Jack Nichols officiating. Entombment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
