LaFAYETTE Barry Franklin Stanley, 52, passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011.He was born in LaFayette on May 1, 1958. Barry was a former employee of Dow-Reichhold Chemicals, was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, loved tractors and working outdoors, but most of all, he treasured spending time with his family and friends.He was preceded in death by his father, Major Stanley.Survivors include his wife, Debbie Stanley, of LaFayette; daughter and future son-in-law, Brittney Stanley and Justin Davis, of Ringgold; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Stanley (Richard) Ray, of LaFayette; brother and sister-in-law, Michael "Jeep" (Marsha) Stanley, of Trion; several nieces and nephews; loving dog, Lucy.The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. today and from noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.Memorial services will follow visitation at 2 p.m. Sunday.Online guestbook available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, LaFayette.
